How it works
How do you rent a boat from Lofoten Boat?
Online booking
- The easiest way to rent our boats is via the online booking system on this website.
- You can register as a customer using the "Become a customer?" button found at the top right of the website.
- You can sign up using your Google account or an email address.
- Select the boat, date and time for your desired rental period.
- The earliest pickup time is 09:00, unless otherwise agreed in advance. The latest return time is 22:00.
- Select the date and time for the return/end of the rental.
- Select the number and sizes of life jackets to be provided in the boat.
- (Note: Everyone on board a recreational boat under eight meters in length must wear suitable flotation gear while outdoors and the boat is in motion.)
- During the booking process, you will be asked to confirm that you hold a valid boat operator's license and/or were born before January 1, 1980.
- Please also provide the names of all passengers (including the boat operator). Be aware of the maximum number of persons allowed on board.
- To complete the booking, you must also confirm that you have read and understood our terms and conditions.
Boat handover
- You will also select a handover time when booking (between 09:00 and 16:00). At the agreed time, wewill meet the you at the floating dock where the boats are moored.
- A checklist will be reviewed together, including verification of the boat operator's valid license and/or proof of birth before January 1, 1980.
- The key and life jackets (based on the ordered quantities and sizes) will be handed over.
Returning the boat
- Upon return of the boat (at the agreed time and no later than 10:00 PM), the lessor will meet the renter at the floating dock.
- A checklist will be reviewed and signed by both parties.
- The key and life jackets must be returned.
- Note: The fuel tank must be filled up before the boat is returned.. If this is not done, we will refuel it at the renter's expense (pump price + service fee).
